It seems that the best years and the worst years happen at the same time. 2005 was one of those years for the Wilkinson family. Early in the year we sold our home of 25 years and downsized to a smaller but new home. In the summer our daughter Laura made history twice. First by winning the World Championship, and becoming the only woman to ever win all of the world's major platform diving events - World Cup, Olympics, and World Championship. Then in winning her 15th National Championship she became the first woman in the world to score over 100 points on a single dive. Then in November tragedy hit when our daughter-in-law Soon Duk was killed in an automobile accident in Austin.
